Worship over those centuries has seeped into the walls.

I wish to nominate the Brigflatts Quaker Meeting House, near Sedbergh, Cumbria. It is a Grade 1 listed building built in 1674 and Friends have been worshiping there for over 300 years. Some of the worship over those centuries has seeped into the walls. I am reminded of some lines from T S Eliot's Four Quartets...

‘...You are not here to verify,
Instruct yourself, or inform curiosity,
Or carry report. You are here to kneel
Where prayer has been valid...
...Here the intersection of the timeless moment
is England and nowhere. Never and Always.’
