Because all life is here.

Because all life is here. My family weren't church goers, but Arthur, the Eeyore-like organist tempted my brother and I in to sing. Simon (Hughes) ended up playing the organ while I ran the youth club with Ted Dexter's kids in the dank cellar. Every Sunday we would sit and listen to inspiring, illuminating words from the pulpit with the wood carvings and stained glass windows in front of us, along with judges, milkmen, doctors, cabbies, politicians, mothers, alcoholics - and men and women who suffered prejudice or enjoyed great privilege. Rev' incarnate!
